When Ariana first began Ari's Wicks, It was very important for her to use the cleanest ingredients possible when making a candle. We are committed to using premium soy wax and phthalate free fragrance oils. Below you will find details about the ingredients we use in our products.

What is Soy Wax?

Soy wax is a renewable source, eco-friendly, slow and clean burning, sustainable, USA grown, all natural, plant/vegetable based and biodegradable. 

Wick types we use:

The cotton wicks used at Ari's Wicks are lead and zinc free and are coated in a natural wax. Crackling Wooden wicks are Eco-friendly, clean-burning, and are made from FSC Certified Wood, hand-crafted + made in the USA. The crackling wicks make a cracking noise, like sitting by a fire.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is a non-profit organization that sets high standards to make sure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner.

Phthalate free fragrances:

Phthalates, or phthalate esters, are a group of chemicals with a variety of different uses and applications. The most common use is in the manufacturing of plastics to make them more flexible and durable, but phthalates can be found in pharmaceuticals, building materials, cleaning products, and other household goods.
