Join Ari’s Wicks for a hands-on soy wax candle workshop during a Tampa’s Social Butterfly networking night at Kichi Taiyaki, and learn the art of creating a beautiful, eco-friendly candle from start to finish.

Workshop Highlights:

• Introduction to Soy Wax: Understand why soy wax is a fantastic choice for candle making. Learn about its benefits, including its natural, renewable properties and clean-burning characteristics.

• Essential Supplies Overview: Explore the materials you'll be using, from soy wax and cotton wick to fragrance oils and floral garnishes. Ariana will provide a comprehensive guide to help you choose the best ingredients for your candle-making experience. Set up also included an apron you’ll be able to wear for the entirety of the workshop. 

• Step-by-Step Candle Making: Ariana, Master Candle Maker , will guide you through each stage of the process:

1. Melting the Soy Wax: Learn the proper techniques for melting soy wax to achieve the perfect consistency.

2. Adding Phthalate Free Fragrances: Discover how to blend fragrance oils to create a custom scent that reflects your personal style. 

3. Pouring and Setting: Master the art of pouring wax and learn tips for ensuring a smooth and even finish.

• Creative Customization: Personalize your candle with unique florals, from the Herb Bar, for an extra touch.

• Safety and Best Practices: Gain essential knowledge on candle-making safety and best practices to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience.

• Take Home Your Creation: At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a beautifully crafted 8 oz soy wax candle that you made yourself. Perfect for home decor or as thoughtful, handmade gift!
